Hi! I’m Amanda. Lifelong cat person, collector of knickknacks, and the human behind The Cosmic Calico.

For the last decade, a huge part of my life has revolved around kitten rescue. Somewhere along the way I started dreaming about creating something of my own that could combine all the things I love: cats, nostalgia, and finding ways to do some good along the way.

And eventually, The Cosmic Calico was born.

This shop is a collection of things that make me happy, the kind of stuff I’d stop scrolling for. Some things are for your cats, some are for you, and some exist simply because life is better with happy little things in it.

But there’s a bigger purpose behind all the cute stuff, too.

A portion of every purchase is donated to 501(c)(3) animal rescues, helping support the people doing lifesaving work for animals who need it most. So when you shop The Cosmic Calico, you’re not just bringing home something fun, you’re helping us send a little good back out into the world.
